north Indian Sanctuary is a house of Chinkara and Panther,
also a home to a number of animals : sambhar, nilgai,
blackbucks, porcupine and wild boar, python and gharial.
This sanctuary is also home to a number of birds around
(150 species of birds).
Chandra Prabha Wildlife Sanctuary was home to Asiatic
Lions, but their numbers gradually decreased and today
it is difficult to find a trace of theose lions. |

This santuary comperises a number of species e.g. leopard,
blackbuck, chital, chinkara, ratel and peafowl, antelope,
blue bull, wild cat, karakal, and bijju. There are quite
a few varieties of local & migratory birds forming
a large part of the wild population. and as veegetation
there are saal, sheesham teek, mahua, jamun, siddha, salai,
koraiya and jheeng, etc.
